Overview

In the Zemtu system, it can be specified that a reservation can only be created if a valid payment method is stored. This option can be set by the administrator.

How can I activate this option?

Zemtu → Organizations → edit Organization → Tab Accreditation → Required payment data

If this option is activated, a valid payment method must be entered for all users.

Valid payment methods:

  • Credit card

  • Debit card (card must be activated for online purchases)

  • SEPA data

Attention: Even if the user has a coupon or a tariff exception, a valid payment method must always be entered.

How can I set an exception for a specific user?

A certain user does not have a credit card and pays the invoices via bank transfer, for example. An exception can be set for such a user so that they can create a reservation despite not having a payment method.

Zemtu → User → ✏️edit User →Tab Payers → Skip payment method check → activate checkbox ❎

💡 We recommend that this option is only activated for trustworthy users.

Examples

One user has only used the sharing vehicle for business trips. For this purpose, the costs were taken over by the company and charged to the same.

For private usage, the same user has to add his personal credit card or another valid payment method.
