Deactivate a user temporarily

How can I temporarily deactivate user without losing their data?

Overview

If a user needs to be temporarily deactivated for any reason, several steps need to be followed.

How to

Zemtu → User → edit User →Tab Permissions → untick the box Active

Unselect this box instead of deleting accounts.

Please note that the user will no longer be active. This means they won't be able to log in to the system.

Therefore, we recommend that you get in touch with the user via phone or email.

💡 Reservations: Furthermore, the future reservations made by this user will still remain in place. This results in the fact that the vehicle will not be available for other users during those times. If the user is deactivated for an extended period, we recommend deleting the bookings.

💡 Rate plan: The rate plan also remains in place despite the inactive status. This means that, for instance, if you charge a monthly fee, it will continue to be charged. To stop the monthly payments, you must remove the rate plan assignments (in the respective accreditation).
Caution: If you wish to reactivate the user at a later point, make sure to put in the correct rate plan again.
