An invoice run is generated automatically on a date defined by the organization. An invoice run is linked to an invoicing party and includes all vehicles of the billing clusters that are associated with the invoicing party. For each invoice run multiple invoices are created. Each invoice contains multiple invoice items.

Explanation

Invoice run date mode: Specifies which date the invoices will receive

• 1st of month: The invoices will be dated on the 1st of the current month (e.g.: 1st July)

• Last day of month: The invoices will be dated on the last of the current month (e.g.: 31st July)

• Synchronization date: The invoices will have the date when the user presses the button "Generate draft invoices for selected Invoices".

Invoice run schedule: Defines the date when the invoice run will automatically be generated

• Disabled: No invoices will be generated automatically every month.

• 1st of month: The invoice run will automatically be generated on the first of the current month (e.g.: 1st July)

• Delayed to 5th day of month: The invoice run will automatically be generated on the fifth day of the current month (e.g.: 5th July)

Enforce collective invoicing

Enforce monthly collective invoice for each payer, independent of the payer’s payment method. There’s no change to the payment cycle. Instead, multiple payments end up as individual invoice items on the same monthly invoice.

Examples

Example 1:
Invoice run date mode: Last day of month Invoice run schedule: 1st of month

The invoice run will automatically be generated on the first of each month (e.g.: 1st July) and the invoices will have the last date of this month (e.g.: 31st July)

Example 2:
Invoice run date mode: 1st of month Invoice run schedule: Delayed to 5th of month

The invoice run will automatically be generated on the fifth day of each month (e.g.: 5th July) and the invoices will have the date 1st of this month (e.g.: 1st July).

Example 3:
Invoice run date mode: Any Invoice run schedule: Disabled

No invoices will be generated automatically every month.

Example 4:
Invoice run date mode: Synchronization date Invoice run schedule: Delayed to 5th of month

The invoice run will automatically be generated on the fifth day of each month (e.g.: 5th July) and the invoices will have the date when the user presses the button "Generate draft invoices for selected Invoices".
