Overview
For each reservation rate the following properties can be set:
Booking fee: price per booking.
Default time fee: price per time unit [h]
Additional time fees: price per time unit [h] for given time ranges.
Distance fee: price per distance unit [km] or [mi]
Late return fee: price per time unit [h] when reservation is overdrawn.
Late return grace period: number of minutes not charged when a vehicle is returned late.
Geofence violation fee: price when reservations are finished outside the defined geofence.
Minimum fee: fee that is charged at minimum.
Per-minute invoicing: use precise start and precise end for calculating the time fee.
💡 Hint: If precise start is later than 30 minutes after booked start, then booked start plus 30 minutes is used to calculate the time fee. This is to prevent that users block the vehicles without paying for the usage.
Extension: 24 hours cap
24 hours time fee cap: maximum time fee that is charged for a period of up to 24 hours.
Included distance: distance [km] or [mi] which is included in the 24 hours time fee.
Include once per reservation: decide, whether mileage is included once per reservation or per every 24 hours.
💡 Hint: When the 24 hours cap is enabled, the system calculates fees for both variants: with and without applying the 24 hours cap. The cheaper variant is then charged to the user.
