Introduction
This article is aimed at developers who want to make use of the ZEMTU Marketplace API. The REST-style API allows for:
Getting data about available vehicles, including location and live availability
Getting data about public carsharing groups
Getting upcoming ridesharing offers (lift offers)
Typical use case: organizations display available carsharing groups and vehicles on their own website and link directly into the booking process.
General info
Base URL: We use
https://demo.zemtu.comin this documentation. For your organization use your own domain, e.g.https://YOUR_ORGANIZATION.zemtu.comSerialization format: JSON is used for data exchange. Datetimes are in ISO 8601 format.
Authentication: Not required — the Marketplace API only exposes public data (vehicles and carsharing groups marked as public). No personal data is disclosed.
Versioning:
/marketplace/api/v2/— new API versions are offered under a distinct version number to allow backward-incompatible API evolution.
Pagination
All list endpoints return a paginated envelope:
{"count": 87, "next": "https://...&page=2", "previous": null, "results": [ ... ]}Default page size: 50 objects, maximum: 250
Set a custom limit with
?page_size=250The field
nextcontains the URL of the next page — follow it until it isnull.

Filtering
Ordering
When a point is given, results can be sorted by distance: ?ordering=distance. Other ordering fields: id, carsharinggroup.
Example
Get all vehicles within a radius of 100,000 (one hundred thousand) meters from the given point, sorted by distance:
https://demo.zemtu.com/marketplace/api/v2/vehicle/?page_size=250&dist=100000&point=9.7359495,47.4232493&ordering=distanceCarsharing group API
https://demo.zemtu.com/marketplace/api/v2/carsharinggroup/Returns the public carsharing groups of the organization. Result fields include id, name, description, active, public, admission_mode (value + display name), general_terms, locations and org. Ordering fields: name, admission_mode — e.g. ?ordering=name.
Hint: when accessed with a valid user token (see Exporting reservations via the REST API), the field display_recommendations additionally contains membership/accreditation hints for that user; for anonymous requests it is empty.
Ridesharing API
https://demo.zemtu.com/marketplace/api/v2/ride/Returns upcoming rides — reservations with an active lift offer on public vehicles of groups where ridesharing is enabled. Important: no personal data is disclosed.
Filters: vehicle (id), vehicle__carsharinggroup (id). Ordering fields: id, reservation_start, reservation_end — e.g. ?ordering=reservation_start.
Example script
curl "https://demo.zemtu.com/marketplace/api/v2/vehicle/?page_size=250&ordering=id"No Authorization header is needed. Follow the next URL to page through all results — the same pattern as described in Exporting reservations via the REST API.
