A coupon is always a fixed monetary amount that can be time-limited. It is not possible to issue a percentage-based coupon.
There are three different ways a coupon can be created:
- Coupon
- Coupon campaigns
- Coupon subscriptions
🎟️ Coupons
In this section, an individual coupon can be created for a specific user. The coupon will be automatically assigned to the user, and the respective amount will be deducted from their next booking. Example: A user cleaned the vehicle during the last reservation and should receive compensation in the form of a voucher.

🎟️ Coupon campaigns
Here, you can create a coupon code for a marketing campaign. Create a code like "ENJOYYOURRIDE" or "12345678" that can be redeemed multiple times. To redeem the code, the user needs to open the app and go to profile → coupon & actions → enter coupon code. Once entered, the corresponding amount will be credited to their account and deducted from their next ride.
Example: Coupon code 1234 is printed on flyers, in newsletters, or other channels to incentivize prospective customers to test our service.

🎟️ Coupon subscriptions
With this action, monthly coupon subscriptions can be created. Every month, coupons are automatically generated for a user, which are valid only for that particular month.
Example: Hosts, fleet managers, vehicle sponsors, admins, etc., receive a coupon once a month as a reward for their engagement.

🤷 Questions & Answers
Can I issue a percentage-based coupon? For example, 50% off on the first ride.
Answer: No, the value for coupons must always be entered as an amount in the respective currency.
Can I issue the coupon for specific times of the day or hours?
Answer: No, the coupon lifetime can only be set for specific days/months, not per hour.
Where can the user enter the coupon code in the app?
Answer: The user clicks on the profile icon in the bottom menu bar, then selects the option "coupon & actions" - enter the code and that's it.
Can a coupon code be redeemed multiple times?
Answer: Each user can only redeem one coupon code once.
Is it possible to create coupon codes that do not need to be directly assigned to a user?
Answer: No, coupons are always created individually for each user. Only coupon campaigns and coupon subscriptions can be used by multiple users. Codes for coupon campaigns and coupon subscriptions can be limited in time, and the number of redeemable codes can also be restricted.
Will a coupon be considered when placing a hold on the credit card (Authorize & Capture)?
No, because it may have already been used by another transaction.
