👱 Overview
During signup, the Identity Check feature can be activated to verify whether a person is registering with their corresponding driver's license. When this feature is activated, the user goes through an additional check where they must photograph both the front and back of their driver's license. Additionally, they must use a mobile phone camera to take a photo of their face (short video sequence). AI then checks whether the person on the driver's license is the same person as in the photo. Upon positive confirmation, the user can then be automatically accredited.
🛂 Service / Stripe Identity
For this purpose, we use the external platform Stripe with their service Stripe Identity.
⛔ Blocklist
Users can be marked on the blocklist to be blocked during registration. The entry is done manually.
How to add a user to the blocklist
Open the Verifications and then click on the User Verification. In the detailed view, you can then click on the three dots "..." in the top right and select the menu item "Add to blocklist".
Afterwards, you can configure whether the selfie and/or the document should be added to the blocklist.
